Specimen Collection

Acceptable specimens:

   > Clean Catch

   > Urine specimen collected by medical personnel via Catheter (quick cath, or collected from tubing), supra pubic aspiration or surgically obtained from ureters, bladder, kidneys.

Rejected specimens: Void, Midstream, urine from catheter bags

If possible, please use urine Collection Kit and submit the gray top tube (preservative) for culture.
