Submit 1 patient sample per biohazard bag to avoid cross contamination
Specimen Stability
VTM specimen stable 4 hours at room temperature; refrigerated 3 days, or frozen for up to 30 days
Special Instructions
Submit sample as soon as possible to avoid delay in results.
Testing performed upon receipt of sample with approximately 90 minute turn-around time.
