Specimen Type

The sample for testing should be drawn from the line in which the catheter sheath is located into a plastic syringe (or blood collection tube) containing NO Anticoagulant. Capillary tubes are not recommended.
Specimen from a direct skin puncture is not recommended.

The sample must be immediately dispensed into the sample well of the cartridge and the cartridge must be inserted immediately into the analyzer.
